Responsibilities:
• To run an independent Quality System to monitor that the operations of the MAR-145 Approved Organisation are in compliance with AACM MAR-145 requirements.
• To manage and lead the Quality Audit Program of aircraft maintenance standards and engineering facilities and to conduct facilities and system survey audits.
• To maintain the company authorisation system and be the approved person to issue company authorisations to engineering staff.
• To maintain a supplier assessment program and to approve appropriate suppliers and service providers for the MAR-145 Approved Organisation.
• To manage staff training and training records to ensure engineering staff are properly trained.
Requirements:
• (a) ICAO Type II Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License holder for a minimum of five years; or
(b) University Degree in engineering related to aviation with 5 years post-graduate experience in aircraft engineering;
• 10 years civil/military aviation experience;
• Must have completed an Auditors Course and hold course certificate;
• Broad knowledge and understanding of aviation regulatory requirements; and
• Previous working experience in quality assurance or aviation regulatory field is a definite advantage but not essential.
